If you’re looking for your next great read or just want to see if our choice was worth it, stick around. Let’s dive into the world of stories, one shelf and one book at a time.
Title: The Words in My Hands
Author: Asphyxia
Chosen by: Jaclyn M.
If I had to pick a genre for this book:
Dystopian
Why I picked it:
The back cover looked super interesting and the cover art was gorgeous.
Brief synopsis (no spoilers!):
Piper lives in a world where real food is rumored to be poisonous. Piper seems to be a normal girl following the rules. The catch? She's Deaf. When she meets Marley, a CODA (Child of Deaf Parents), Piper learns all is not what it seems. There may be more to the world than meets the eye.
Swoon Factor:
5 - "Ultimate Swoon"
The full romance package! Intense feelings, undeniable connection, and scenes so dreamy they
might make you gasp or clutch the book to your chest.
Rating my choice:
5 - "Obsessed!"
This book is EVERYTHING. It’s your new favorite, you’re gushing about it to everyone, and you might
even reread it someday!
My take on this book:
This book shows so much on how disabilities can 't limit you and how you gotta stand up for what you believe. It gives you a better realization of how some people live.
